อ่านเจอกระทู้นี้ที่พันทิพพักใหญ่ๆ แล้วแหละ พอเอามาคุยกะลูกกะคุณปั๋ว เลยกลายเป็น topic ที่ยืดยาวคุยไม่จบ คุยกันมาตลอดอาทิตย์เลยก็ว่าได้ กระทู้นี้ไม่ยาว และไม่ป๊อบปูล่าอะไร แต่มันจิกหยิกที่หัวใจมากค่ะ ความเห็นความคิดของคนบางคน อ่านแล้ว เหวอ เอ๋อ  jaws drop! เลยรีบไปก๊อปมาแปะก่อนที่กระทู้จะตกไปซะก่อน ขออนุญาตลบชื่อล๊อคอินของทุกๆ คนออกด้วย เพราะ กลัวเดือดร้อนจ้า เข้าเรื่อง เข้าเรื่อง 55555 เพราะครอบครัวเราเป็น War Zone เล็กๆ ถ้าคุยกันว่า คนไทย คนอเมริกัน ใครดี ใครเก่ง บลาๆๆๆ กว่ากัน (เป็นเรื่องค่อนข้าง sensitive นะคะ อย่าลอกเลียนแบบ 555 อาจเกิดสงครามเหมือนบ้านอิชั้นก็ได้)  พอถามอีสามีว่าอะไรที่ Made in The USA พี่ทั่นรีบตอบมาอย่างฉับไว …. Potato Chip “Lays” by Frito Lay….. Ha Ha Ha แล้วก็พล่ามต่ออีกยาวววว…มาก คนอเมริกัน (โลว์ไล้ฟ์ ออน เวลแฟร์ ทั้งหลาย) ทำไมไม่ทำงาน พูดเรื่องนี้แล้วเหมือนไปเติมฟืนแถมราดน้ำมันก๊าดใส่ไฟสุมทรวงของทั่นก๊อตเลยเชียว

People on welfare work real hard, the system that is. A person making minimum wage should receive some kind of aid;  more so than a lazy slob that is abusing drugs, children and God knows what else. Work fare for welfare, simple if they don’t work a certain number of hours to earn the benefits then they starve, if their children starve it’s the lazy S.O.B. who is at fault. The government has no business being involved in charity, this is supposed to be the function of churches, tax exempt charities and the local community as a whole. As a child growing up in the 50’s local people would pitch in and help neighboring families who were struggling, with food, clothing, emotional help and what little other help we could provide. It was meant as a helping hand, not a way of life to be abused and sustained indefinitely. This way people got back on their feet and had a sense of pride and accomplishment, very seldom did you ever see any failures or abuses  occurring. I’ve worked 52 of 57yrs. so far, I can say that I have a work ethic, am proud of my performance, and have always loved whatever job I’ve had.

The point I am trying to make is that no one handed me these things, I worked  hard for them and learned along the way. This country is paying the price for long years of neglect by politicians that have not had their feet held to the fire, America first is a phrase that seems so passé, have not heard it in years and it is very sad to me that is seems to be like this…

ที่จะมาเล่าขานนั้น คือ คนบางคนไม่ยอมเข้าใจว่าที่อะไรๆ ทำไมถึง Made in China เลยกลายเป็นมาบ่นก่นด่าคนอเมริกันที่ขี้เกียจแต่ฉลาดเรื่องกลโกง ท่านผู้อ่านโปรดแซบ 555 อย่างที่บอกอยู่บ่อยๆ ว่าสามีอิชั้นน่ะ เธอเป็น blue collars ค่ะ ทำงานหนักมาตลอดชีวิต (แต่ชั้นก็รักของชั้น 555) ถ้าพูดเรื่องคนไม่ทำงานแต่กินสวัสดิการต่างๆ ถือว่าเป็นการ manipulate หรือ abuse system ที่ผิดมาก บอกแล้วคุยเรื่องนี้แล้วยาววววว…. 555 เน้นนิดนึง ปั๋วอิชั้นมันเป็น Conservative Republican ค่ะ มิใช่ Republicanเฉยๆ ใครๆ ที่ฝักใฝ่ Democrat หรือ Liberal Democrat ก็คงจะอ่านแล้วเคืองๆ ส่วนอิชั้น ไม่ฝักใฝ่ฝ่ายใดเลยมาตลอดชีวิต ตั้งแต่เมืองครั้งยังอยู่เมืองสยามข้ามน้ำข้ามทะเลมาปักหลักอยู่เมืองลุงแซม สิ่งที่ได้เห็น ได้รู้ และไม่เคยเข้าใจ และไม่มีวันยอมรับ คือ เกมส์การเมือง นักการเมือง อิชั้นไม่ศรัทธาใคร หน้าไหน เลยค่ะ ถ้าไม่หวังผล คงไม่ดิ้นรนมาเป็นนักการเมือง…แน่นอน!

อยากให้หลายๆ คนเข้าใจ กลไกลทางธุรกิจ ถึงมิใช่เมเจ้อร์ตอนเรียน แต่ทำงานด้านการผลิตและการตลาดมาพอสมควร (ครึ่งค่อนชีวิตเลยทีเดียว วนเวียนอยู่ตามโรงงานต่างๆ 7-8 ปีเชียวนะคะ นั่นเรียกการผลิตใช่ปล่าว ถึงไม่ได้ไปนั่ง นอน ยืน ผลิต กะเค้า แต่ก็นั่นตูดบานหัวฟูในออฟฟิซร่วมกระบวนการกับคนโรงงานแบบเคียงบ่าเคียงไหล่เลยนะคะ)  พอมาทำงานด้านการตลาดหลายๆ ที่ ก็ทำให้รู้อะไรๆ มากขึ้น ได้ยิน ได้ฟัง ได้อ่าน ได้ลงมือทำ ก็จำใส่กระโหลกมาเล่าสู่กันฟังแบบบ้านๆ พอได้นะคะ

อยากถามคุณความเห็นข้างบน Are you ashamed to be Thai? Thai workers are known as hard workers and the best of quality. ไม่เคยได้ยินมาเลยเหรอคะ นิคมอุตสาหกรรมมีอยู่มากมายดาษดื่นทั่วเมืองไทย ถ้าคนไทยไม่สามารถผลิตอะไรให้เป็นที่ยอบรับระดับโลก เรือกสวนไร่นาทั่วประเทศก็คงไม่กลายเป็นนิคมฯ โรงงาน นับพัน นับหมื่นหรอกค่ะ เรื่องค่าแรงที่ถูกเป็นปัจจัยหลักๆ ที่ผู้ผลิตนำมาพิจารณา แต่ทุกโรงงาน ทุกสินค้า ทุกแบรนด์ ทุกเกรด ก็จะมีมาตรฐานคุณภาพของสินค้าของตน มี QC QA หรือ อิ๊กคิวซัง สารพัดขั้นตอนแหละ ที่จะทำให้สินค้าของเค้าได้คุณภาพที่เค้าตั้งไว้

บางครั้งคุยกับคน (ไอกัน) บางคนก็ทำให้มีเซ็ง ไม่อยากใช้คำว่า “โมโห” เพราะคนบางคนก็มองอะไรแคบๆ อยู่ในกะลาถึงได้คิดว่าตัวเองนั้นใหญ่คับจักรวาล 5555 แรงค่าแรง วันนี้อิชั้นแรงเกิ้นนน…. คือมันชอบพูดว่าเสื้อผ้า ข้าวของแบรนด์เนม ราคาสูง ใครซื้อก็โง่ ไปจ้าง sweatshop จากประเทศโลกที่ 3 ประเทศที่ด้อยพัฒนา ประเทศที่กำลังพัฒนา แล้วแต่มันจะเรียก ราคาถูกๆ มาขายแพงๆ ดิฉันเคยเสียเวลา พล่ามอธิบาย ว่า แกก็ต้องนึกบ้างนะ ของที่ขายๆ น่ะ ไม่ใช่แค่ไปจ้างโรงงานเมืองจีนทำถูก แล้วมาขายแพงๆ เค้าต้องซื้อวัตถุดิ มีการขนส่ง มีการออกแบบ นำไปผลิต หีบห่อ ขนส่งกลับมาอีก การเก็บสต๊อค ขนไปวางจำหน่าย ทุ่มโฆษณา เช่าร้าน จ้างลูกจ้าง ถุงหีบห่อ อีกสารพัดขั้นตอนที่ไม่ได้กล่าวถึง ทุกขั้นตอนน่ะ เค้าไม่ได้มาฟรีๆ นะจ๊ะ คุณๆ มีค่าใช้จ่าย มีการทำประกันภัย โอ้ย เยอะแยะมากมายจารนัยไม่หมด

ก็อยากจะถามแหละ ถ้าหากอยากได้อยากซื้อแบรนด์ที่ชอบคลั่งไคล้แล้วผลิตในประทเศต้นสังกัด คุณๆ จะสู้ราคา อ๊ะป่าว ถามหน่อย ถามหน่อย 5555 อยากพวกแบรนด์ระดับโลก เค้าผลิตตัดเย็บข้างๆ โต๊ะดีไซเน่อร์ชื่อก้องโลกเลย ราคาก็ตามค่าตัวคุณๆ ลุงๆ เจ๊ๆ พวกนั้นเลยนะ ไม่มีหรอก ร้อย เก้า เก้า น่ะ 5555ใช้หมองหน่อย หรือหาหนังสือหนังหาอ่านกันหน่อย เอ๊ะ ดูทีวี ดูเคเบิ้ล รายการที่มีประโยชน์…อาจช่วยได้บ้างนะ คือ เปิดหูเปิดตาดูโลก ความเป็นไป เป็นมา ของโลกจริงๆ นอกกะลาซะบ้าง เน้อพี่เน้อ

A sweatshop is a working environment with conditions that are considered by some people of industrialized nations to be difficult or dangerous, usually where the workers have few opportunities to address their situation. This can include exposure to harmful materials, hazardous situations, extreme temperatures, or abuse from employers. Sweatshop workers are often forced to work long hours for little pay, regardless of any laws mandating overtime pay or a minimum wage. Child labor laws may also be violated. However, most sweatshop workers like having their job, and all work at them voluntarily.

Many economists, such as Paul Krugman and John Nornerg defend the existence of sweatshops. People choose to work in sweatshops because the sweatshops offer them substantially higher wages and better working conditions compared to the only other available jobs--such as manual farm labor--and that sweatshops are an early and very important step in the process of technological and economic development whereby a poor country turns itself into a wealthy one. All sweatshop workers work there voluntarily. The nature of decision making indicates that the decision one makes is based upon the notion that their choice is the best option available. Likewise, when combined with the fact that most sweatshop workers say they are happy with their jobs, the idea of illegalizing or significantly regulating sweatshops merely takes away the most appealing line of work these individuals have to look forward to; forcing many into poverty from the life they considered comfortable when working in a sweatshop, as well as stunting the economic growth of their nation.

Although often associated with poor developing countries, sweatshops may exist in any country. Sweatshops have existed in several different countries and cultures, including in the United Sattes. Sweatshops usually employ low levels of technology, but may produce many different goods, for example, toys, shoes, clothing, and furniture.
